Now Gmail in Hindi

Now you can sent emails via Gmail in your local language. Google has introduced Indian languages compose option for Gmail. From now onwards users can send emails in the language of your choice - Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam through Gmail.


This feature works by Indic Language transliteration, a new feature of Google Apps that facilitates typing and sending in Indian languages.

To enable this function in Gmail visit the "Settings" page and enable the Indic Language transliteration function in the "Language" section. Users can type in english the words of their local languages and Gmail will automatically convert the word to its equivalent.

The Indian languaages will also be available on Orkut, Blogger and iGoogle.
